Vinhie, my first grandson.

He was born on the fourth of July, but we reside in The Netherlands, after Midnight. I was born after midnight either. In March recently Vinhie has got a baby brother, just before corona prohibited every visit even to your own blood relatives. So we could pay baby Tuan a grand visit when he was born last 12 March recently. Baby Tuan is a very cheerful baby boy. All his photographs are with smiles and he looks so very smart. Vinhie loves his baby bro very much.

People told me, if we reside in the U.S.A. Vinhie would get a great present from the Government. That did not bother me, I have enough enjoyments since our Vinhie came on earth. Now we are enjoying the moments with baby Tuan too.

Be quiet and think through and through how great our happiness is! Not only for me as their grandmum, but for their parents and my spouse too. They are goodlooking kids with bright faces, healthy and constantly busy with their own interesting plays, oftentimes they are playing with each other. It seems that baby Tuan has become quicker understanding his elder bro.

Just wanna tell you how happy, proud and lucky I am as their grandmum.

As a baby and toddler, Vinhie has experienced very much concerning abroad. At almost seven months old he went for six months with his parents to Ghana in the African continent. The habit there is when a baby gets one year old, he must eat first a cooked egg before eating his birthday cake. I still have the picture where Vinhie looked so odd at the cooked egg. That was for the first time, Vinhie saw an egg. Vera his babysitter (a niece of Ferdie’s colleague in the hospital in Berekum is working as a help in the household and as Vinhie’s babysitter too.)

Then the next year again another 6 months in Thailand. His mum was volunteering as a medical specialist for Tropical Deseases. Ferdie, is accompanying her and became Vinhie’s constant babysitter during those 6 months. This shows for me as his mum that Ferdie loves Vinhie and his mum very very much. Mind you Ghana 6 months, thus 6 months away from his own medical specialist’s practice in his hospital. There was an assistant working for him, got his salary of 40 procent. To Thailand no assistant anymore, own new medical specialist from his hospital, so Ferdie got no income, but he is a very clever young man who has other ideas that brought money forth in his empty hospital salary as an anaesthesiolog, every month up to 6 months.

Such a greatest blessings to know all about the daily going-ons of my own sons and their family, besides Ferdie, I still have two cute sons in their own surroundings. So far my short story about my first grandson Vinhie. He is now 3 years old. Last week in August recently my spouse and I were invited by Ferdie to have holidays in Normandy. A cosiest gathering, beauteous beaches and delicious french cuisine, and…………enough for Vinhie to watch at, to wonder and to play along the beautiful beach of Normandy. So many things to be most grateful to God, He has given us many opportunities to discover and to enjoy. So far this episode. Anno Domini Friday 11 December 2020.
